Homeopathy is more than a practice to me; it is a lifelong journey. My history with this field dates back to my youth as a patient of world-renowned, Dr. Sankaran. While homeopathy helps to fine-tune the organism to heal, PEMF enhances the power to heal as it improves tissue oxygenation and circulatory systems.
PEMF being a non-invasive treatment, whose effects and mechanisms of action align with homeopathic principles, can be a great complementary therapy for homeopathic practices. Like homeopathy, PEMF stimulates the body’s natural self repair abilities.
Hahnemann wrote in the Organon, “The forces of mineral magnetism, electricity, and galvanism act no less homeopathically and powerfully on our vital principle than medicines actually called homeopathic, which overcome diseases when taken by mouth, rubbed on the skin, or smelled. These other forces can cure diseases, especially those in which sensitivity and irritability are disturbed and those having abnormal sensations and involuntary muscle movements.” He further specifies the complementary use of magnetic power, and hydrotherapy.
Both low-intensity and high-intensity PEMF systems can provide distinct benefit. However, the benefits of the low-intensity devices are the product of cumulative use.
