Prevent Blindness, the nation’s leading nonprofit eye health organization, has announced that the 2023 Prevent Blindness Swing Fore Sight golf tournament will take place on Wed., Sept. 27, at the Bali Hai Golf Club, Las Vegas, Nev., in conjunction with Vision Expo West. Registration and breakfast begin at 6 a.m. PT, and a shotgun start is at 7 a.m. PT. All proceeds from the event will go to support Prevent Blindness and its sight-saving programs.
The all-volunteer Swing Fore Sight golf committee is once again chaired by Joe Savarese of Jobson Interactive. Committee members include Rick Clemente, Santinelli International; Dennis Davis, WestGroupe USA; Jon Goldberg, Carl Zeiss Vision; Prevent Blindness Board of Directors Chair Jim McGrann, Percept Corporation; Hunter Noell, Jobson Interactive; Fran Pennella, Vision Expo and Scott Shapiro, Europa Eyewear.
Current sponsors include Jobson Interactive, Ocuco and Zyloware. All sponsorship levels are available, including Gold, and the new Silver Sponsor level.
For participants, foursomes are $3,000 and individual golf slots are $750 for the four-person scramble.
