Non Profit Heartly House Announces Leadership Transition

“Inga’s leadership has transformed Heartly House into a beacon of hope for thousands of individuals in crisis. We are grateful for her years of service and wish her the very best in her future endeavors,” said Dawn Lowe, Board Chair of Heartly House.

Heartly House is pleased to announce that Niki Thrash, who has served as Heartly House’s Deputy Director, will take on the role of Interim Executive Director. Niki brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit management, a passion for the mission, and a deep understanding of the needs of survivors in Frederick County. Niki has been instrumental in driving several key initiatives at Heartly House and will ensure that the organization continues to provide essential services without interruption.

The Board of Directors is committed to a seamless leadership transition and will work closely with Niki and the Heartly House team to maintain the organization’s mission and momentum.

“We are confident that under Niki’s leadership, Heartly House will continue to thrive and serve as a lifeline for those who need it most,” said Dawn Lowe. “Our commitment to our clients and community remains unwavering.”

Heartly House provides a comprehensive range of services, including crisis intervention, counseling, legal advocacy, case management, and more, to individuals impacted by intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse.
